3 Makeup Tips For Big Eyes

Big eyes are often considered an attractive feature, and
with the right makeup techniques, you can enhance their natural beauty even
further. Whether you're looking to make your eyes appear larger or simply want
to accentuate their unique shape, here are three makeup tips specifically
tailored for big eyes.
Define Your Lashes:
One of the most effective ways to make your eyes look bigger
is by emphasizing your lashes. Begin by curling your lashes using an eyelash
curler to create a wide-eyed effect. Hold the curler at the base of your lashes
and gently squeeze, holding for a few seconds before releasing. For an extra
lift, you can heat the curler with a hairdryer for a uncommon seconds before
using it.
Next, apply mascara on the way to both your upper and lower
lashes. Opt for a lengthening and volumizing mascara formula to create the
illusion of fuller lashes. Start at the ignoble of your lashes and wiggle the
wand back in addition forth as you move upwards. This will help separate and
coat each lash evenly. For the lower lashes, use a smaller mascara wand or
gently press your finger against your lower lashes while blinking to transfer
some mascara.
To further enhance your lashes, consider applying false
lashes. Choose a pair that's not too dramatic or long, as you want to maintain
a natural look. Trim the lashes near fit your eye shape, apply a thin layer of
lash adhesive lengthwise the strip, and carefully press them as close to your
natural lash line as possible. Finish off with another coat of mascara to blend
your natural lashes with the falsies seamlessly.
Play with Eyeliner Techniques:
Eyeliner can be a powerful tool in creating the illusion of
bigger eyes. Experiment with different techniques to find what works best for
you.
One popular method is tightlining, which involves applying
eyeliner on the upper waterline. This technique adds subtle definition to your
lash line, making your lashes appear fuller without the appearance of obvious
liner. Use a waterproof gel or pencil liner and gently lift your eyelid to
expose the waterline. Glide the liner along the inner rim of your upper lash
line, starting from the outer corner and working towards the inner corner.
Another effective eyeliner technique for big eyes is
creating a winged or cat-eye look. Begin by applying eyeliner along your greater
lash line, starting from the inner corner and gradually thickening the line as
you move towards the outer corner. Once you reach the outer corner, extend the
line slightly upwards and outwards, following the natural curve of your eye.
For a more dramatic look, make the wing more elongated and sharp. Remember to
keep the line thin and gradually build up the thickness for a more defined
look.
Choose the Right Eyeshadow Colors and Placement:
When it comes to eyeshadow, certain colors and placement
techniques can enhance the appearance of big eyes.
To create a bright and open-eyed look, start by applying a
light, shimmery eyeshadow shade to your entire eyelid. This will help reflect
light and make your eyes appear more awake and larger. Choose shades like
champagne, light gold, or pale pink, which work well with a variety of eye
colors.
To further define your eyes, apply a slightly darker darkness
to the outer corner of your crease. Use a fluffy blending brush in addition
blend the color gently towards the center of your eyelid, focusing on creating
a soft gradient effect. This technique adds dimension to your eyes and helps to
create depth.
Additionally, consider adding a pop of color to your lower
lash line. Using a small, angled brush, apply a vibrant eyeshadow shade, such
as teal, plum, or bronze, to the outer two-thirds of your lower lash line. This
will draw attention to your eyes and create a captivating contrast.
Remember, experimenting with different eyeshadow colors and
finishes can be fun, so don't be afraid to try new looks and find what suits
your style and eye shape best.
