Consistency,
a color palette, lightness in the shading - eye shadows are usually selected
based on these parameters. But sometimes the design of a license plate wins
your heart so much that you want to buy it, regardless of the content. We chose
five products in creative packaging: from a collection in the trunk of a car to
glowing star-shaped curtains.
Revolution
Drive Thru, a vegan stack: I am a revolution of the heart
The Drive
Thru board has two versions: a Grilled Cheeseburger, Cutlet, and Veggies, and
Vegan Stack, the same burger, but no cutlet. We especially like the second
option: in terms of design and palette. Grilled cheese is dominated by
orange-red hues, and the "vegetarian" version is golden green.
There are
eight shades under the soft round top (!): Three matte triangles and five with
a glossy finish. Judging from the reviews, the colors are applied naturally
with a finger and brush and shaded without bald spots. The dish is packaged in
a cardboard box, as befits a hamburger for a "ready" order.
I Heart
Revolution is a subsidiary of the Revolution brand. If the latter doesn't tend
to flirt with design, then on the official I Heart Revolution website, the
concept is literally worded as "fun packaging and an emphasis on the
frivolous side of the world of beauty."
Makeup
Revolution X Friends Take A Drive Eyeshadow Palette
In September
2020, the Makeup Revolution brand launched a collaboration with the popular
Friends series. The painting is in the shape of a taxi - this is a 3D design,
not the usual flat drawing. Inside there is a rectangular mirror and 21 colors:
from neutral matte to piercing blue and gold. The titles refer to favorite
episodes, details and phrases from the series: What is the value of Myyyyy
Sandwich? Ross Geller's mimic quote from Friends Season 5 Episode 9.
Take the
road, judging by the reviews and comments, you fell in love not only with the
design. It is, as they say, a transition option - you can slightly darken the
crease of the eyelid, and the image for walking is ready. If you want, you can
have a full day makeup and a 90s grunge style.
Wink On -
Ciate London
Wink on is a
zipped circle with a yellow smiley on the lid. Ciaté was launched in
collaboration with the British brand Smiley World.
The board is
made up of four minerals: be a cheerful aubergine, be a bronze optimist, be a
vibrant pinkish red and be a strong gold. The nuances of the names are very
positive: they are invitations to the game, full of hope, bright and powerful.
The manufacturer advises applying all the colors with one finger, smoothing the
edges with a soft brush.
Headed by
the independent British brand Ciaté, Charlotte Knight is a woman with decades
of experience in the beauty industry. Charlotte believes in beauty without
limits or rules. The brand does not test products on animals, which is
confirmed by PETA certification.
Black to
light palette - Givenchy
The Black To
Light palette is part of the 2020 New Years collection. The strict black case
is full of sparkles, among which are red sparkles. Reviews indicate that the
glitter does not fall off the lid. The black design solution to light are
star-shaped shadows of different sizes. The largest is pearly white. This is
suitable for the moving eyelid and for highlighting under the eyebrows.
Slightly smaller silver star, metallic finish. Black is the smallest with a
matte finish. The combination is perfect for smoking, but you can use the
curtains individually.
Givenchy's
current politics can be described as follows: imitation plus desire for
experimentation. Givenchy was the first to introduce black into everyday lip
makeup. In 2008, they released mascara with an unusual spherical brush. In
2012, they launched a line of decorative cosmetics for men, occupying a
previously empty niche. I would support such experiences.
